The Kamea Pension is located in the picturesque village of Ždiar, situated in the Biela Voda Valley, at the foot of the Belianske Tatras and Spišská Magura Mountains. This village is one of the gems of Slovakia, rich in traditions, customs, folklore, and the culture typical of Tatran settlements. It is an excellent starting point for skiers, hikers, and cyclists, as well as those who love to relax in the heart of nature.

The Kamea Pension is a convenient starting point for skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts. In Ždiar itself, there are three ski resorts, including the Strachan Ski Centre (open until 9:00 PM), Bachledova Dolina and Strednica. Additionally, within a 15-minute drive, you can reach the ski resorts in Tatranská Lomnica, Jurgowé, and Białka Tatrzańska.

For those who cannot resist mountain hikes or cycling adventures, the breathtaking scenery of the High Tatras awaits. The surroundings of Ždiar also offer attractions for the youngest visitors, such as the AquaCity water entertainment world in Poprad, Tatranská Divočina with an educational program for children, rope parks, a 9 km inline skating trail and many more.

After an active day in nature, our guests can relax and rejuvenate in the Finnish sauna.

Bachledka Ski and Sun - Zdiar Bachledova Dolina2 km

Zdiar - Bachledova Dolina has only 3.8 km of easy to intermediate low-latitude skiing. The primary uplift at Zdiar - Bachledova Dolina is a 1km long chairlift. Magnificent views of the High Tatras and several larger ski areas are nearby Zdiar - Bachledova Dolina.

Bike & skates track - Spisska Bela - Tatranska Kotlina7 km

9 km long route connects Spisska Bela with Tatranska Kotlina. The route is 3 m wide, all-asphalt and therefore suitable for cyclists as well as skaters. In winter it is used by cross-country skiers. As a part of the route, there are 4 major sheltered resting places as well as maps of the region and the cycling route.

Cable-car to Lomnický Peak17 km

Ride above the clouds and experience unrepeatable views of the surrounding peaks of the world´s smallest giant mountains. Lomnicky Peak is second highest peak of the High Tatras. A 4-seater cable car operates from the lower station in Tatranská Lomnica to mid-station Štart, from there a comfortable 15-seater cable car continues to Skalnaté Pleso – its upper station, which is also the interchange station on the journey to Mt. Lomnický Štít. From there a unique red cable car will take you to the peak, which overcomes an elevation of 855 metres and the ride takes 8,5 minutes.
